Groodles

Here at Bernedoodles and Groodles Australia we’ve built a great reputation for breeding quality Groodles and have been Pennhip and DNA testing all of our breeding dogs for generations!

The Groodle, also known as the Goldendoodle, is a mixed cross breed between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle combining the intelligence and hypoallergenic coat of the Poodle with the friendly and tolerant nature of the Golden Retriever.

Appearance

Groodles come in various sizes, largely depending on the size of the Poodle parent, ranging from miniature to standard. Their coats can be curly, wavy, or straight, and they often inherit the low-shedding characteristic of the Poodle, making them a popular choice for individuals with allergies. Coat colors include cream, gold, apricot, red, chocolate, black, and parti-color.

Temperament

Known for their affectionate and gentle disposition, Groodles are highly social and thrive on human interaction. They are intelligent, eager to please, and typically get along well with children and other pets, making them excellent family companions.
